Today, you’re faced with one of three realizations. Either, you are remembered by the one you love. Or, you are forgotten by the one you love. Or, you aren’t loved. No, that’s not true. You are. Just not enough to receive cheap chocolate or a four dollar pre-written card with a three-second half-thought autograph. Don’t feel bad, it means very little.
I did buy one of those cards though. And I did buy some sweets and chocolates. Only, the sweets was a pink pack of bubble gum for my daughter. And the chocolate was a Twix for my son. Admittedly, the card was littered with love and adoration for my beautiful Godly wife.
I don’t need this day and I don’t like this day. It’s awkward and its unnecessary. But, until I can get my act in shape and romance my wife every day like the gift she is, I have no room to complain. For me, and most husbands, we could use the obligations of Valentine’s Day about once a week. If half the men in this country would put half an effort into romancing their wives then our divorce rate might be higher than half.
My wife loves me and makes me know it. She treats me with care and concern and even when we argue I know I’m her number one creation. Valentine’s Day isn’t my favorite day of the year but I’m not complaining. After all, she’s my sweetheart tomorrow too. A good husband celebrates Valentine’s every day.

Nothing makes me happier than to know my grandsons have good marriages. I believe it’s because they are also “married” to the heavenly Lover. Don’t let it fall apart!
Oh I just love you! <3
